Rem Lefferts once lived in the lovely home that was torn down over 100 years ago. This house was built in 1838 and stood as a major landmark in Bedford (Bedford Corners) for over 70 years. I wish this place was still standing but today we have a rather unappealing architecture on the north side of Fulton at Arlington Pl. Lets not lose anymore of our buildings lets landmark Bedford.
